February 16 and 26, 1997

Kristi,
Today has been a really neat day. First of all, it’s my dad’s birthday. He got a really special gift today. He was called to be in the Bishopric. Our wards all got split up. We got a whole new ward, building, time, bishopric… everything! It’s sad that we have to split up with so many of the people we love. I hope the people in our new ward are nice. I am really excited for my dad. He is going to have a special time, I think. Well, I’m tired. I’m going to go now. Bye!

Kristi,
Hey, guess what! …I’m waiting! …Well?! Forget it; someone could grow grey hairs waiting for you to guess!

I can’t find a pencil so I am going to use 3 different markers; cool huh? …No, that’s not what I was going to tell you, silly! Who would care to hear about that? No, I was going to tell you what I couldn’t last week. (I was too tired to talk; or, in this case, write.) …Of coarse I am still going to tell you; hold your pants on!

Okay, first of all, Dad got called to be the 1st counselor of the bishopric! Second, we got new wards ( :)&:( ). Third, I was chosen of 6 people to sing in the Young Women General Meeting at the tabernacle on March 29, 1997! Forth, now that my room finally has walls, carpet pieces, sheetrock and a door; I am working harder on my goals to be a better person! Now that I’ve finally found a pen, I’ve got to go.
Love you,
Me
