Hey Journal,
Hmmm, that sounds Kind of tacky, don’t you think? You are like a best friend; I tell everything to you! (When I can… Sorry, I’ve been so busy! I promise to fill you in. It’s not like my life is any interesting.) Anyway, it feels funny calling a best friend “Journal”. I think I am going to name you. Let’s see then… What do you want to be named? …Well, tell me! I don’t have all day! It should be a person name; then I can talk about you without anyone knowing. This is hard… How about Kristi? Okay, Kristi it is.
Hey Kristi, guess what?! I’m 14! I know, it took me long enough to tell you! My party was great! I had so much fun! 14 girls came. My room is getting done too! It’s got all the walls framed up. I can’t wait until it’s done. I love it!
Let’s see, what else do I have to tell you? Oh, I got my Beehive medallion on January 22. I’m so happy!
I know I have more to tell you; I thought of a whole list! Well, I remember one thing that was on that list that I still haven’t told you… I started my period for the first time last summer. I hate it!
Well, I can’t seem to remember any thing else I have to tell you… Okay, good-bye, Kristi!
Love, Melonie
